The Spirit Of Haman

Read the Book of Esther Chapters 3 through Chapters 9. This is an account where there were two men one named Haman and the other named Mordecai. Haman was an arrogant, ambitious, scheming, ungodly, wicked man. King Ahasuerus, had put him ahead of everyone else and commanded that every one bow down and reverence this man. In other words look up to him and bow down to him. That is exactly what Haman wanted; is for everyone to look up to him. Mordecai on the other hand was a very righteous Godly man. Mordecai loved and worshiped God. He would not bow down to Haman. Haman hated this. The Bible says he became full of wrath. Haman wanted to personally destroy Mordecai. He had such malice and became so vindictive toward Mordecai that he made a plot to kill Mordecai and all the Jews. Maybe even so that he could just destroy Mordecai. When Mordecai learned what Haman planned to do, he tore off his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes and went out into the city and cried with a loud and bitter cry, he came before the King's gate. All the Jews began to tear of their clothes. They put on sackcloth and ashes. They began to fast, weep, wail, and mourn. Mordecai got word to Queen Esther what Haman was planning to do. So Queen Esther, who had been raised as Mordecai's daughter, went to the King. She told the King, "I want to ask you to do something for me." The King said to her, "what is it? I will do it for you. I will even give you have of the kingdom if you want. Just tell me what it is." Queen Esther said to the King, "I want to make a big banquet for you and I want to invite you and Haman only to come to it." So the King called for Haman and told him of the invitation. Haman went out very happy and when he passed by Mordecai, once again Mordecai would not pay any attention to him nor stand up or bow down to him. Oh that made Haman full of wrath. He rushed home, called all of his friends and his wife. He told them how he had been invited to the banquet for the King and how he alone had been invited. He began to boast of all his riches, how many children he had and all the promotions that the King had given him. But Haman said, "None of this matters as long as I see Mordecai sitting at the King's gate." Haman's wife said to Haman, "Just build some gallows and hang Mordecai on them. Don't let it bother you anymore just go to the banquet and have a good time." So that pleased Haman and he caused the gallows to be built. But that same night the King could not sleep, so he commanded the book of Chronicles to be brought to him. The King began to read and found the account of how Mordecai had stopped a plot to kill the King. So the King asked, "What honor had been given to Mordecai for this." His servants replied, "Not a Thing" The King asked, "Who is in the court?" At that very moment, Haman was in the court to ask the King to hang Mordecai on the gallows that Haman had prepared for him. They answered the King, "It is Haman standing at the door waiting to come in." The King said to Haman, "What shall we do to honor this man that I delight in honoring." But in Haman's heart he was thinking, "There is no one that the King would delight in honoring more than me." He was thinking he was the one that was going to be honored and put in a higher position. Haman answered the King and said, Put the royal clothes that the King wears and the horse that the King rides upon and the crown which sets on the Kings head be let it placed on him and let him ride through the streets. Let it be said, "This is what the King wants to do to the man that he delights to honor." So the King said, HURRY UP AND TAKE THE CLOTHES AND THE HORSE, AND DO AS YOU HAVE SAID, LET IT BE DONE TO MORDECAI, and AND DON'T FAIL TO DO ANYTHING THAT YOU HAVE SAID. Haman hurried up and went to his house with his head covered. He told his wife and his friends what had happened. They told him that he would not succeed in bringing Mordecai down but would fall himself. While they were still talking with Haman the Kings Servants came and took Haman to the banquet that Esther had prepared. On the second day of the banquet the King ask Esther, "OK what is it that you want?" She said, "If it pleases the King, let me be given my life and my people's life. We have been sold to be destroyed, to be slain and to perish." The King asks Esther, "Who is he, and where is he, that presumed in his heart to do so?" Esther answered him and said, "The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman." The King arose in wrath, and went into the palace garden. Haman stood up to plead to Esther for his life. When the King returned he found Haman had fallen upon the bed of Queen Esther. The King said will Haman force the Queen before me in the house. The servants covered Haman's face the King commanded Haman to be hung upon the very gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the Kings anger stopped. Haman despised Mordecai because, Mordecai went about his business and he paid no attention to Haman. Mordecai was doing the job he was supposed to be doing. He didn't do things just because everyone else was doing them. He didn't do things the way everyone else wanted him to do them. You see, Standing or bowing represents ones position. Haman did not like Mordecai's position that he held. He wanted him to bow. But Mordecai held his position. You see Haman wanted to be above everyone else. He wanted to be looked up to. He wanted to be revered. He hated and despised anyone that would not give him what he wanted. He tried to destroy those that would not give him what he wanted. He plotted and schemed against Mordecai. He tried to destroy Mordecai because he could not have or get what he wanted. There are people today that will try to destroy someone else because they have something that they don't. You would be surprised of Christians who plot against another because they don't get what they want. You would be surprised of Ministers or Christians who hate, try to tear down and destroy another Minister or Christian, simply because they are jealous of them. I know of instances of these things happening. I mean people who can sing and preach good! I have seen some of these people be so mean and down right cruel to another Minister or Christian, treat them badly and downright say mean things to them and about them. They will try to get others involved and get them to say slighty things or put downs, about that other Minister or Christian. They even try to do the same thing to the friends of that Minister or Christian. When they become jealous, they begin to despise and hate that fellow Minister or Christian. They will criticize and put them down any way that they can. They want to destroy them. They think that by getting rid of that Minister, they can have their position. I have seen them slighly, try to belittle another Ministers in front of a congregation so that they can appear higher or more anointed than the other Minister. But let me tell you, it does not work that way! Romans 8:31 If God be for you, who can be against you? A person will never have more anointing because they try to tear down another Christian or Minister. It will work the opposite, The anointing that these Ministers or Christians have or seem to have, who are trying to destroy others, will be taken from them Luke 8:18. You see what you make happen for someone else, God will make happen for you! If you make good things happen for others God will make good things happen for you. If you make bad things happen for others then bad things will happen to you. The Lord said, if these people do not repent and stop this kind of thing they are going to lose their anointing just as Saul lost his anointing!
Notice that even though Haman had a very High Position he still hated and despised Mordecai. Just like Some Ministers even though they have a great anointing on their own life and can sing and preach good, they hate and despise other Ministers and are jealous of others. But also notice the position that Haman had held was taken from him and given to Mordecai. The word of God says, "Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. So people let us be happy and rejoice when fellow Ministers and Christians are winning souls for Jesus. People are going to hell while ministers and people are jealous and so concerned about their position and who is more anointed or who is the best preacher or this or that or the other. That is why they don't have the anointing that they see on others. It is not about us. It is all about Jesus. We would have nothing if it weren't for Him. It Is Not Us, IT IS JESUS! He died for us all. We are to have a right spirit. David said in Psalms 51:13. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy holy presence. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then Will I Teach Transgressors Thy Ways, And Sinners Shall Be Converted Unto Thee! While in Prayer, The Lord spoke to me and said that, "If People Will Repent Of The Things That They Have Spoken Against Other Ministers And Done To Other Ministers, I Will Forgive Them And Reverse Their Circumstances." I love all of you Ministers and Christians and sinners. I want us all to go to heaven! Amen!
